Privacy Policy

Applies to the Jira dashboard gadgets published by Probius Apps on the Atlassian Marketplace. Last updated 17 August 2026.

The short version: the app stores nothing. It reads the issues you ask for, calculates a total in memory, returns it to your browser, and forgets everything. No database, no analytics, no third-party services, and no data ever leaves Atlassian's infrastructure.

Who we are

The app is published by Probius Ideea Proiect S.R.L. (registration J22/1115/2018, tax ID 39286243), Str. Constantin Langa 145, Miroslava, Iasi 707305, Romania. For anything related to this app, write to apps@probiusproiect.ro.

Where the app runs

The app is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely on Atlassian-hosted infrastructure, inside your Atlassian cloud instance's region. We operate no servers of our own, and the app makes no outbound network calls to any external host.

What the app reads

The app requests a single permission, read:jira-work, which lets it read issues and fields. It reads only what is needed to answer the question you configured in the gadget:

Every read is performed as the user viewing the dashboard, using that person's own Jira permissions. If someone cannot see an issue in Jira, that issue is not counted in their view of the gadget. The app cannot see more than you can.

What the app stores

Nothing. The app uses no database, no key-value store, no file storage and no cache of your data. Totals are computed in memory for each request and discarded when the response is sent. Closing the dashboard leaves nothing behind.

The only thing that persists is the gadget's own configuration — your JQL filter, the fields you picked and how many rows to show. That configuration is stored by Jira itself, as part of your dashboard, and is subject to Atlassian's own data handling.

What we receive

We receive no data from your instance. We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, telemetry or personal data, and we run no tracking of any kind. We have no access to your issues, users or projects.

What we do see is what Atlassian shows every Marketplace partner about their own app, and nothing beyond it:

None of this is data from inside your Jira. It is account-level information Atlassian holds about the customer relationship, and it is subject to Atlassian's own terms as well as this policy. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.

Third parties and sub-processors

There are none. The app does not use any external service, analytics provider, error tracker, content delivery network or AI service. The only infrastructure involved is Atlassian's own.

Data deletion

The app itself stores nothing, so there is nothing of your Jira data for us to delete. Uninstalling the app from your Jira site removes it and its gadget configurations entirely. The two things that can outlive an uninstall are the licensing records Atlassian gives us and any email you have sent us — write to us and we will delete both, except where we are required to keep an invoice for accounting.

Security

The app inherits the security model of the Atlassian Forge platform: Atlassian-hosted compute, Atlassian-managed authentication, and no egress to external hosts. It requests the narrowest permission that lets it do its job, and reads data as the acting user rather than as an administrator.

If you believe you have found a security issue, please write to apps@probiusproiect.ro. We aim to acknowledge security reports within one business day.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. If a change ever means the app starts storing or transmitting data — which is not planned — that change will be described plainly here before it ships.
